In a case of life imitating art, an American man dressed as Superman has saved his neighbours from a house fire.
Paul Peterson was dressed in costume as the iconic comic book hero over the weekend when he spotted the blaze at the home of Marcy Zavala, who was inside with her four sleeping children and husband Henry.
As reported by Inside Edition, the Good Samaritan was “screaming as loud” as possible to alert the family.
The fast moving fire – which happened east of Los Angeles – destroyed six homes.
The family met Paul this week, and an emotional Marcy said: “I haven’t had a chance to tell him thank you. Words can’t express the feeling.”
